Celebrating Our Precious Water
Welcome to Plastic Free Eastbourne's monthly campaign update. This month we consider how we can encourage people to recognise the importance of our water.
Water from our locality is superior to water from plastic. We have paid for our water so we should not choose to pay even more for an inferior alternative.
Our Eastbourne Spring Water Festival 24 was our 4th 10 day event. There were so many activities, with something for the whole family. This includes art exhibitions, water sports activities, cycling, our EcoFair, a big beach clean, a pilgrimage, studio at the allotment, film screenings and of course, walking along the seafront to top up our refillable drinking water bottles from our "Spring Water Way" refill stations.
Thank you to all of our event leaders and to all of you who took part in at least one of our events. Thank you also to all who enabled this Festival to take place. The weather was mostly very kind to us this year!
